RigFitment publishes spec data, modeled load estimates, and editorial opinion about overlanding and vehicle-camping gear. Scores, load checks, and rankings are editorial assessments with documented weights (methodology) — they are not engineering certifications. Verify all load ratings with your vehicle owner’s manual and your rack manufacturer before mounting or loading anything; an overloaded roof is a safety issue. The load checker estimates from the numbers you enter and a stated rule of thumb — it cannot know your vehicle, installation quality, or driving conditions.
